A Caring Practice For All Your Foot Care Needs
Mission Statement/Office Philosophy
Our purpose is to provide you with the highest quality medical and surgical care of your foot and ankle problems. One of our treatment goals is to educate you about the nature of your problem, and explain the treatment options available. By education you about the nature of your complaint you become an active participant in your care and treatment. We strongly feel that your involvement improves the quality of your care.
Dr. Fjelstad's philosophy is to treat you like you were member of his family. A treatment recommendation is the same treatment he would recommend to a family member with the same complaint.
Lastly, we like to have fun in our profession. We like to get to know our patients, and enjoy conversing with them. It helps to set you apart from other patients and can improve the patient care and patient outlook.
We are proud to provide two state-of-the-art facilities in Burnsville and Apple Valley with the highest quality care available, and are confident that you will feel right at home, as we welcome all patients as if they were family. Congeniality and convenience are the hallmark of our practice. We work hard to treat you how we would like to be treated and to get your scheduled in a timely fashion. We make allowances for injuries and other emergencies that need to be seen quickly.
We also provide custom made orthotics that are priced at a level generally below that of retail stores. Some insurance carriers cover the custom orthotics, some do not. As they are custom made, we work to get the fit of the orthotic right.
We have afternoon and morning hours available and also have a limited number of early morning hours available. If you would like to make an appointment, please contact us by calling (952) 435-2629. If you would like to request an appointment online, please select the "Appointment Request" option from the menu above. A member of our staff will follow up with you directly to confirm scheduling. If you have an injury or emergency, we will try to work you in on the day you call.
Our practice accepts cash, check, and Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.
We accept most major insurance providers. Please call our office to verify whether your specific insurance plan is accepted. To make sure you are getting the highest level of benefits, always check with your insurance carrier or administrator. The telephone number is generally on your insurance card.
For your convenience, our office has adopted a system by which we submit your charges directly to your insurance company. Please remember that insurance companies do not cover all medical costs. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible, co-payment or other balance not paid by your insurance company.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing our practice!
